Commissioning Work: The Process
I will make a visit to the location where the project is. In addition to your ideas, this site visit will allow me to integrate the surrounding architectural details and any structural considerations.
At this time I will give you an estimate for design, fabrication and installation. If agreed upon I will require a design deposit.
Upon receipt of design deposit I will submit between 2 to 3 designs per project to assure that we have addressed every critical design concern. This will generally take up to 2 weeks.
With the designs I submit a suggested glass selection considering color values, opacity and privacy to fit the needs of your window.
Upon design approval and glass selection a second deposit will be required to start the fabrication. After receipt of deposit I will start the fabrication.
Most windows and doors will require 4 to 6 weeks to complete. Completion time is relative to job flow in the studio.
Final payment is due upon completion and installation. Full payment must be received before any window can be shipped.
